Ella holds Master of Surgery from the University of Hawaii and Doctor of Philosophy (1987 to 1993), from College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Plant Pathology at University of Wisconsin, Madison, United States.A. Later, Ella held the position of assistant professor, at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
With expertise in yeast molecular genetics, he founded, Bharat Biotech in 1996.
