Career

Addis attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. She graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism and was the feature baton twirler for the "Pride of the South" marching band in the 1989, 1990, and 1991 seasons. After various forays in acting and broadcast work, she became a born again Christian in 1996.

Achievements

• She was named Mission Mississippi Teen-United States of America in 1987, and later won the Mission Teen-United States of America title on July 21, 1987 in El Paso, Texas. She remains today as the only Mission Teen-United States of America pageant winner from Mississippi.
