He acquired Turkish citizenship at the age of 17. Early years
Nikolov was born in Skopje, Macedonia to a Macedonian parents. He started playing basketball in Macedonia.
Galatasaray
In 2010, he moved to Galatasaray Liv Hospital where he signed a youth contract.
In 2014, he became a Turkish citizen. He has since moved up to the senior Galatasaray team with the start of the 2014-2015 season.
On June 28, 2015, he signed a contract with Yeşilgiresun Belediye.
