Kumaichi Yamamoto graduated from Political Science Department of Toa Dobun-shoin University (1913).
Kumaichi Yamamoto passed the Higher Civil Service Examination and served as administrative official of foreign affairs, third secretary in Japanese Embassy in Turkey and England, administrative official of foreign affairs and then at Bureau of International Trade and Commerce.
Later Kumaichi Yamamoto became Secretary of Japanese Embassy, chief of 5th Section of Research Department of Foreign Ministry, director of International Trade and Commerce, East Asia and American Affairs Bureaus, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs and Greater Far Eastern Affairs and Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Thailand. President of Yamamoto Seisakujo (Manufactory) Company (1948). Chairman of International Trade Acceleration Association (1957).
