Background
Mr. Kumar Narayanan is Co-Founder of Ankeena Networks, Inc and serves as Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Narayanan is an experienced engineering executive with deep expertise in technical and operations management, system and architecture design, project management and application software development on numerous hardware platforms. Prior to joining Nokeena, he served as Director of Engineering in the Storage Technology Group at Cisco Systems, Inc., where he focused on security, application delivery, datacenter Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and service integration. He also served as a Manager of Software Development in Cisco's New Business Ventures and Enterprise WAN Business Unit and as a Software Engineer in Cisco's Workgroup Business Unit. Prior to Cisco, Narayanan architected the migration of mainframe applications to a client-server model at the Citibank. Mr. Narayanan holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Madras and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
