Served as instructor, assistant professor, professor, and then dean of the Law Department, Meiji University.
Was appointed dean of the postgraduate school of above university in 1952.
During the above period, studied commerical law in Germany and Britain. Author of books and articles on general rule of commercial laws, laws on commercial activities, corporation law and merchant marine laws.
Rendered unique research particularly in the field of general rule and corporation law.
