Career
Kunitoshi Tsukumo was associated briefly with the old Liberal Party. He was elected to the Diet seven times and was once parliamentary vice-minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

An outspoken man, he often annoyed Premier Wakatsuki with his frank talk.
