Discovery of DNA extracted from leaf petiole, mid veins and bark. Discovery of simple technique to estimate viruliferous vector population of PYSV, scirtothrips dorsalis hood by modifying groundnut seedling. Development of pruning dried twigs followed by one spray each with carbendazim at monthly intervals was found effective.
Development of two bud necrosis resistant groundnut varieties.
