Lin, Kwang-Lung was born on February 23, 1954 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Son of Ah-Lien and Tsai-Yun (Shiaw) Lin.

Career

Postdoctoral staff Ames (Iowa) Laboratory-Iowa State University, 1984-1985. Associate professor National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, 1985-1989, professor, since 1989, chairman department materials science and engineering, 1991-1994. Presenter in field.

Member Minerals, Metals and Materials Society, American Society Metals International, American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society (Best Paper award/Silver medal 1997), Chinese Corrosion Engineering Association (advisory board since 1989), Chinese Materials Science Society (executive board 1991-1994).
