Career

Kyo Kiuchi made modest but great efforts for the development of women's education and movements. After the war, became superintendent of "Hatono-Iet" (The House of Pigeons) of the Kiuchi School.

Achievements

• Kyo Kiuchi devoted herself to the education of children, and is well known as the first woman principal of primary school (Tokyo Municipal Shimura First Primary School) in Japan.
