Career
Served as councilor of Agriculture & Forestry Ministry and later became president of Nihon Nenryoki Kaisha (Japan Fuel Gauge Manufacturing Company) (1950). The same year was elected to House of Councilors and became chairman of Kaishinto "Giin Sokai (General Assembly of Progressive Party's Diet Members) and member of Legislation Committee of both houses.
