Career
Entered Fukutani Shoten Company (1916) and became manager of its Osaka Branch (1928). Appointed director of Osaka Togyosho (Osaka Sugar Industry Agency) (1940). Became representative director of the same company and resigned Fukutani Sh5ten Company (1942).
Thereafter became president of Osaka Seito Kaisha (Osaka Sugar Manufacturing Company) (since 1948) and Taiyo Bussan Kaisha (Taiyo Product Company or Taiyo & Company) (since 1951).
Appointed chairman of Seito Kogyokai (Sugar Manufacturing Industry Society) (1951). Assumed additional posts of director of Osaka Sugar Exchange (1952) and director of Japan Sugar Manufacturing Industry Society.
