Career
Kyoka Izumi entered the employ of Hakubunkan, publishers, and for a while worked on the compilation of encyclopedias while still writing novels. He was a profilic and gifted writer and until his death kept aloof from current literary trends. Among his works are "Teruha Kyogen", "Tatsumi Kodanf Tsuya Monogotari", "Onna Keizu", "Shir a Sagi" and "Uta Andon".
