GROVE, Lady was born in 1864. Daughter of General and Honourable Mistress PittRivers.

Education

Studied at home and Oxford. First essay appeared in Oxford High School Magazine when aged 15. Has written many articles for magazines, Nineteenth Century, Fortnightly, Cornhill, et cetera

Career

Has travelled since marriage in Europe, America, and Africa. In Morocco crossed the Atlas Mountains and made the acquaintance of the lately dethroned Sultan Abd el Aziz. Has visited Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland.

Member of Executive Committee of Women's Liberal Federation, Anti-Vivisection Society, and President of the Forward Suffrage Union.

Also member of National Union of Women Suffrage Societies, et cetera Speaks at public meetings

Represented Berwick Saint John, in Wiltshire, on District Council, 1898-1903. Voteless and unrepresented.
