Career
Berri signed with Hollywood Records in the 1990s, with the release of her debut album Berri toured the United Kingdom and made appearances on such United Kingdom shows like The Big Breakfast and performed at PopKomm with the Foo Fighters and Beck in Germany. The single landed in the Top 10 of the British Rhythm & Blues chart. In the United States the single sold over 185,000 units within its first nine weeks.
In 1998 she appeared on the Snake Eyes soundtrack which starred Nicolas Cage.
Her debut album, produced by Emosia, the man behind Blessid Union of Souls was released on January 1, 1998. That year she earned a Cammy Award (Cincinnati Entertainment Award) nomination for Best New Acting.
Berri remains active musically as a backing vocalist for a list of Rhythm & Blues and popular acts, but has not scored a chart hit since the release of "Like This and Like That".
