Eastland received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from Brigham Young University in 1967. Six years later he earned his Master of Arts degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1976 from the University of Southern California.
Eastland completed military service as a captain in the United States Marine Corps. He began his career as a staff assistant to President Gerald Ford at White House in 1974 and had held it for three years. In 1978, Eastland was appointed a managing director at LEA Management Group LLC., where he worked until 2005. Also Larry was an instructor in political science from 1978 to 1992.
In 1995, he became a director of Grand Slam Treasures, Inc., where he served until 2001. Then in 2002, Eastland took a position of a president of TBAY Holdings, Inc. and had held it for two years. In 2003, he was appointed a president of Parks! America, Inc., where he worked until 2009.
Since 2002 he has been serving as a chairman of the board, chief executive officer and chief financial officer of T-Bay Holdings Inc. In addition, since 2010 Larry has been working as a director of Shale Oil International Inc. Since 2015 he has been a director, chief financial officer and corporate secretary of Eagle Mountain Corporation. He serves as a principal director of LEA Capital Advisors, LLC.
On January 19, 1971 Larry Eastland married Beverly Ann Caulder. They have four children.
