Her mother was an actress at Sadler"s Wells Theatre. Her mother began working at the Olympic Theatre in 1826, and Honey joined her mother.

Honey"s debut was at Sadler"s, under the name Laura Bell. Honey performed in the play "Casco Bay" in 1827. Honey then moved to Surrey and learned how to play music
She returned to Sadler"s Wells in 1929.
He took advantage of her finances. They divorced shortly after marrying.
He would go on to drown in the Thames River in 1836. Honey performed at the Royal Strand Theatre in 1832 in "Love of the Angels." The following year, she performed at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
Next, she performed at the Adelphi Theatre.
She performed in a burlesque called "Cupid" with John Reeve. She did one season at the Haymarket Theatre and proceeded to tour the country. After performing at various other theaters in London, she settled in the City of London.
She performed in a stage rendition of "Riquet with the Tuft" and also performed in "Spirit of the Rhine" in which she sang the title song, "My Beautiful Rhine," which became very popular.
Honey died of inflammation on 1 April 1843 in the Regent"s Park area of London. She was buried at the Christ Church, Hampstead.
She had two children who were aged three and ten, upon her death.
