Career
On June 26, Lauren captured the title of out of a pool of more than 130 contestants. on National Broadcasting Company. Lauren was named a Top 10 semi-finalist. Before capturing the title Mission Texas United States of America she was named 3rd runner-up in 2004 as Mission Fort Bend County United States of America and 2nd runner-up in 2005 as Mission Bay Area United States of America in the Mission Texas United States of America pageant system. She had also competed in the Mission Texas Teen United States of America pageant in 2002 where she was named a semi-finalist as Mission Bay Area Teen United States of America 2001.
Lauren was named Mission Bay Area United States of America 2004, while Taylor was named Mission Bay Area Teen United States of America 2004.
Both placed Second runner up at the state level under the Bay Area title in 2005 and Lauren was named "Mission Photogenic". Five years later, Taylor Lanning was crowned Mission Houston 2010.
