She has appeared on numerous television programs including Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company, Home Box Office, Travel Channel,American Broadcasting Company, TLC, Hallmark, WE Channel, Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, East! True Hollywood Story, Lady Gaga"s Telephone(song) music video and others She has also been in multiple films and internet productions. Powers competed in amateur bodybuilding contests from 2001 until 2014.
She owned and operated a surfing academy on Maui while in college.

As the founder of the Lauren Powers Classic, a highly recognized bodybuilding and fitness competition in Southern California, she designed her namesake competition to be open for people of all ages and in all categories regardless of their experience level
