Laurence M. Hardy, American Herpetology educator. Achievements include research in development of reproductive system of parthenagenetic lizards, in evolutionary relationships of the snakegenera Gyalopion, Ficimia and Pseudoficimia, in revision of North American black-headed snakes, and in studies of the ecology of the molesalamander.
