Career
1914 front-line service as staff captain with Gorsko-Mozdok Regiment Fought against Germans and Turks. Early 1917 led Terek Cossack unit of Persian Expeditionary Corps during march on Kermanshah and Baghdad.
July 1918 returned with unit to Baku, helped to liberate town from German and Turkish troops, then fought against Soviet regime. Late 1918 drove Soviet troops out of Petrovsk (now Makhachkala) and set up Caucasian-Caspian democratic government. 1919 emigrated to England.
1943 joined Vlasov army in Germani, working in North Caucasian Department until May 1945.
