1879 graduate Medical Faculty, Moscow University.
After graduate worked at Kozhevnikov, Charcot, Westfal and Mendel’s clinics. 1882 defended doctor’s thesis on the corpus striatum. From 1884 associate professor, Moscow University.
From 1910 founder-director and professor, Nerve Clinic, Higher Women's Courses (now 2nd Moscow Medical Institute). Consultant, various Moscow hospitals. Edited numerous specialist publications in Russian and German, including the 3-volume “Handbuch der pathologischen Anatomic des Nervcnsystems” (Manual on the Pathological Anatomy of the Nervous System) (1903).
Honorary member, various Soviet sci society Honorary member, Paris Anatomical, Psychiatrical and Neurological Social, German Neurological Social, Est Neurological Social, Philadelphia Neurological Social, et cetera 1931 Honorary deleg, 1st World Neurological Congress.
Specialized in clinical histological research and the histology of the nervous system. Described numerous clinical forms and symptoms (Minor’s central hematomyelia, Minor’s epiconus, Minor’s iscias phenomenon). Devised theory' of polypathia.
Also did research on alcoholism, epilepsy and occupational nervous diseases. Wrote over 160 works.
