Lee Keo-Ra

Career

Lee qualified for the women"s 200 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 2:02.61 from the World Championships in Melbourne, Australia. She challenged seven other swimmers in heat two, including Estonia"s three-time Olympian Elina Partõka. Lee rounded out the field to last place by more than five seconds behind Partoka in 2:05.71.

Lee failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed forty-sixth overall in the prelims.

Achievements

• She won a bronze medal, as a member of the South Korean swimming team, in the women"s 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
