Career
Maeba was born in February 1966. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology from University of Science and Technology, Portuguese Harcourt. Before becoming a senator he was a Justice of the Peace and a State Party Vice Chairman.
In a May 2009 survey of senatorial performance in the 6th National Assembly, ThisDay noted that he had sponsored several bills related to oil exploitation, and gave him an "average" rating.
