Lennart Olof Hardell, Swedish cancer epidemiologist. Achievements include distinction of being first to associate exposure to phenoxyacetic acids, chlorophenols, dioxins and PcBs with increased risk for malignant tumors in humans; research in environmental pollutants and cancer risks e.g. PcBs and malignant lymphomas, Polyvinyl chloride and testicular cancer, mobile phones and brain tumors.
