Leonid Radvinsky’s love for the field started at an early age when he played on his grandfather’s old i386 PC. Leo Radvinsky went on to excel in economics as a student at Northwestern University, graduating as class valedictorian. He has since coupled his talents in managing technology with his business prowess to build several successful businesses. Even so, his passion for many years has been to bolster the open source movement. To this end, he has spent millions of dollars of his own money as an angel investor and philanthropist to improve software development for people all over the world.
Career
Leo Radvinsky’s background as a first-generation immigrant from Ukraine has enabled him to work with entrepreneurs and engineers from many different countries. He invested heavily in Anywhere Software’s B4X program to enable the company to convert the program from a paid model into a free suite. He also promotes Elixir, a new programming language that has the potential to improve a wide range of applications. Even so, these successes are just the beginning.
