Leonard "Len" Smith born in Leeds, was an English professional rugby league football player of the 1930s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Hunslet, as a prop, or hooker, id est (that is) number 8 or 10, or 9, during the era of contested scrums, he died in Halifax.

International honours Challenge Cup final appearances Len Smith played prop, and scored a try in Hunslet"s 11-5 victory over Widnes in the 1934 Challenge Cup final during the 1933-1934 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 5 May 1934.
