Studied at Oxford Preparatory School. Cheltenham College (scholar). Studied art at Ruskin School, Oxford, St. John’s Wood Art School and at Royal Academy Schools.
Exhibited at Royal Academy first in 1898, and since then continuously. Among the exhibits being The Rehearsal, now in Chantrey Collection at National Gallery of British Art, Bed - time (purchased by Italian Government for National Gallery, Rome), Una and the Red Cross Knight, Battledore, The Canal, Chess, Practice for the Ballet, and some Portraits. Exhibited also in Provinces, Paris Salon, Venice International Exhibition and Ghent.
Member of National Portrait Society, 1910. Contributed drawings to Windsor Magazine, Cassells, English Illustrated, Sporting and Dramatic News, and other papers. Painter.
