Leonid Afremov was born on July 12, 1955 in Vitebsk, Belarus in a jewish family. He lived there until 1990, since 1990 till 2002 he lived in Israel and then since 2002 till 2010 in Boca Raton, Florida. Afremov currently resides in the popular resort town Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico near Cancun.
