Leonid Emilievich Antipko

Background

Leonid was born on the 8th of October in 1950, Boguslav, Ukraine.

Education

He graduated from the medical faculty of the Voronezh State Medical Institute in 1973.

Career

He was a doctor-neurosurgeon of the Voronezh Regional Clinical Hospital in 1976 and the Head of the Voronezh City Vertebrological Center since 1991-2006. Also, he was the Head of the Neurosurgical Department of the Clinical Hospital of the South-Eastern Railway since 2006.

Achievements

• He implemented in the practice of Voronezh medicine operations with congenital deformities of the spine and stenosis of the spinal canal. He is the author of more than 40 works on various aspects of neurosurgery and vertebrology, including the book "Stenosis of the spinal canal" .
