KULIK, Leonid was born on August 31, 1883 in Tartu. Son of a physician.

Education

1924 graduate Leningrad University.

Career

Studied circumstances involved in the fall of many meteorites. Greatly expanded Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences meteorite collection. 1921-1922 directed meteorite expedition to check the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences’s reports on fallen meteorites in the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics.

1927-1930 and 1938-1939 headed expedition to study the fall of the Tungus meteorite. At start of World War 2 joined Civil Defense unit Wounded and taken prisoner by Germans.

Religion

Religion is always aggressive against any new scientific ideas.

Views

Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
