Worked out accurate solutions for gas dynamics equations and solved problem of powerful explosions, etc. 1931-1937 at Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute. 1946-1953 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science.
1956 attended International Conference on Rocket Research, Freidenstadt. Deputy Chairman, Presidium, USSR National Committee Theoretical and Applied Mech.
