Vice president Central College, Conway, Arkansas, 1929-1931, also pastor Tillar (Arkansas) Baptist Church.

Editor Baptist Advance, 1931-1933. Full time pastor, Pulaski Heights Church, Little Rock, Arkansas. President Arkansas Baptist State Executive Board, 1936-1937, now Arkansas Baptist State Convention, 1937-1938.

Formerly chief librarian Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
