Lequan Min, Chinese Mathematician. Achievements include discovery that so-called quasicrystals might be essentially complex (perturbed) periodic structures, introduction of non-classical plane-crystallographic groups. Recipient Excellent Tchg. award Bao Gang Education Foundation, Shanghai, 1995. Member Chinese Mathematics Association, The World Laboratory (Beijing)(associate).
