A WPA photographer in 1937-1939, LeRoy Robbins was a still photographer for motion picture studios in 1933-1936 and maintained a studio for architectural and advertising photography in 1927-1931.
His films include Even as You and I, 1937; Symphony in Stone (Donal Hurd Sculpture, for the WPA), 1939; The Big Inch, 1943; and Freedom to Learn (on survival in the Aleutians, for the U.S. Air Force), 1944.
