Prosecuting Attorney, Lucas Company, Toledo, O., since 1927. Known for reforms in criminal procedure and prison reform. Tried Ohio’s most famous murder case (Hoppe) together with hundreds of other important cases both civil and criminal.
Represented Company in cases of Kirk et al vs. Maumee Valley Elect. Company recently decided by United States Supreme Court and Kirk et al vs. Providence Mill Company which re-established doctrine of State sovereignty.
