Leslie B. Keno was born March 14, 1957 in Mohawk, New York, United States. He is a son of Ronald and Norma Keno. He has a twin brother, Leigh R. Keno, and an older brother, Mitchell Keno.
In 1979 Leslie B. Keno graduated from Williams College.
From 1980 to 1983 Leslie B. Keno began as cataloger in American furniture and decorative arts department at Sotheby's in New York, New York, and later became a department director and senior vice president of the company. Since 1996 he has been as appraiser for Antiques Roadshow, television series, at Public Broadcasting Service.
He is an actor and producer, known for Buried Treasure (2011), The New Yankee Workshop (1989) and Find! (2003). Together with his brother, Leigh, he has written a book, Hidden Treasures: Searching for Masterpieces of American Furniture, which details their experiences as collectors and appraisers.

Leslie B. Keno is married to Emily Becnel. They have two children: Ashley, Schuyler.
