Career

Commissioned ensign United States Navy, 1907, and advanced through the grades to commander. Retired for physical disability 1930. Manager of safety for Denver, Colorado, 1930-1931.

Vice president Daly General Insurance Company, Denver, 1931-1940. Recalled to active duty 1940. Promoted to captain, then rear admiral.

Assistant judge advocate general of Navy. Retired, physical disability, 1944.
