Portnoy, Leslie Snyder was born on October 5, 1953 in Baltimore. Daughter of Irvin and Shirley Snyder.


Bachelor of Science, University Maryland, College Park, 1975. Master of Fine Arts in Education, Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, 1981.


Part-time art instructor Baltimore County Public Schools, 1982—2000. Adjunct faculty art education Loyola College, Baltimore, since 1984. Instructor art education Maryland Institute College of Art, since 1988, instructor continuing studies, since 1994.
