Took active part in work of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Medical Sciences. Did major research on the interaction of the stimulatory and inhibitory processes in experimentally-induced neuroses. Also did research on convulsive states.
Developed method of inducing experimental reflex epilepsy. Made electrocncephalographic neurophysiological analyses of the cerebral cortex in hypnotic and posthypnotic states. 1948-1950 chairman, Learned Medical Council, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of Health.
