Arrested in connection with 1 December 1934 Leningrad murder of secretary of Central Committee and Leningrad Oblast All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Committee South. M. Kirov and charged with belonging to underground anti-Soviet group of former Zinov’yev followers. 29 December 1934 sentenced to death with co-defendants by Assizes of Supreme Court Military Collegium.
