1937-1941 Musical Director, USSR Folk Dance Ensemble. 1941-1946 in Soviet Army. Operas: “Aelita” (1930).

“Darvazskoe ushchele” (Darvaza Canyon) (1938). “Gvardeytsy” (The Guardsmen) (1950). “Chekisty” (The Men of the Extraordinary Commission against Counter-revolution, Sabotage and Speculation) (1954).

Ballets: “Yurochka” (1939). “Rodnoy bereg” (Native Shore) (1941). “Zhuravlinaya pesnya” (The Song of the Cranes) (1940).

Musical drama “Aziz va Sanam” (1955). 2 concertos for piano and orchestra (1947 and 1955). A quartet (1933); “Spanish Songs” (1936).
