Presiding elder, 1885-1889, 1891-1892. Western publishing agent Methodist Episcopal Church, 1892-1900. Pastor Gary Memorial Church, Wheaton, Illinois, 1901-1903.

Assistant pastor First Church, Chicago, 1903-1905. Retired 1905.
