Career
Between 1932 and 1974 he owned the in Harlem, New York City. Michaux had little formal education. Michaux died in 1976.
Michaux was married to Bettie Kennedy Logan and they had one son.
Politics
Michaux was active in the Black nationalism movement from the 1930s to the 1960s and supported Marcus Garvey"s Pan-Africanism.
