Lewis John "Llew" Llewellyn born in Newport district, was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1900s and 1910s, playing club level rugby union for Newport Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Centre, and playing representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Ebbw Vale, and Wigan, as a wing, id est (that is) number 2 or 5, he died in Newport.
