An organizer Minnesota Malleable Iron Company, 1895, also of America Bridge Company, later absorbed by United States Steel Corporation.
A founder of Red Wing Malting Plant, and various other commercial enterprises. Formerly vice president Metropolitan Bank and director Northwestern National Bank, and Minnesota Loan & Trust Company. Now president L. S. Gillette Company, Chippewa Land & Pastures Company and Plymouth Investment Company Prominent in forwarding plans for the greater University of Minnesota, and many other public enterprises.
Honorary vice-president and chairman building committee Chamber Commerce of the United States, member International Chamber Commerce, Minneapolis Civic Commission.
