He did M.A from University of the Punjab in 1983. He is an agriculturist by profession. He was elected for the first time in 2002 from the constituency northern
NA-103 Hafizabad-II in Sukheke Mandi & Pindi Bhattian.
He was elected to the National Assembly. Second time in 2008 he elected again on that constituency and succeeded again.
