Darvas, Lili was born on April 10, 1902 in Budapest, Hungary. Daughter of Sandor and Berta (Frieberger) Darvas.
Came to the United States, 1938, naturalized, 1944. Graduate High school.
Appeared in numerous stage plays, since 1922, including Romeo and Juliet, Budapest, 1922. Joined Max Reinhardt’s repertory theatre appearing in Vienna, Austria, Berlin, Germany, 1926-1938, Salzburg Festivals, summers 1926-1929. Appeared in German language prodns.
