Ermezei holds a Master of Arts from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest and also attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera of Milan.

In 2008 her group won the Epson Art Photo Award from among 150 arts universities around the world and was subsequently exhibited at Art Cologne. Also in 2008, Ermezei"s work in collaboration with Daniel Halasz was selected to be shown at the National Design and Fashion Gallery in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2012 Ermezei won the Finnish Fund for Art Exchange (FRAME) to participate in New York Photo Festival. Ermezei"s photograph "Judith" was selected as one of the 100 finalist photographs of the Renaissance Photography Prize 2012 and exhibited at Mall Galleries. In 2012 Ermezei became a finalist in the London International Creative Competition (LICC), for her photo series "Body Borders - Skype Project".
She lives and works in Helsinki and Budapest, and is a member of the Hungarian Studio of Young Photographers and the The Union of Artist Photographers in Finland.
