Lindsay MacLeod Black, American Plant virologist. Achievements include research in plant virus tumors, dsRNA, insect transmission of plant viruses, micoplasmas, and Rickettsia-like organisms, plant viruses that multiply in their insect vectors assayed on their vector cell monolayers more quickly and accurately than on plants.
